Home again, home again...

In my experience, the best thing to use in paraffin wax.  Not because it's the very best lubricant, but because it's the longest lasting and doesn't need to be reapplied over and over given harsh conditions.

Good question Fred Griffin Florida Real Estate . My answer is "nothing". It seems every lubricant draws dirt. Maybe graphite.

General purpose dry lubricants reduce friction between moving parts with a powdery coating. These substances lubricate parts such as rollers, gears, and chains without a fluid. They can withstand high temperatures and won't break down and drip. They resist dust and dirt and prevent grime from building up on equipment.

Funny you should ask this today . . . I'm cleaning the tracks of my sliders now (blowing dust and sand about does them in this time of year!) , and I have bought and reordered Superzilla to clean then lubricate them!
It works for a lot of stuff and contains green ingredients.

Have four sets of sliders at a lake home and graphite works best for me. Tried lighter fluid which is not as gummy and keeps the wheels rolling smoothly too.
