When everyone does a podcast, YouTube, video & the like, it becomes a blur at some point. Everyone has an opinion & they become commonplace. The specific use of video has a function this we know. I am reminded of cable TV companies that offer hundreds of channels for a price & 95% of them are worthless, boring distractions. Peoples random videos? Bleak

I shot video for my son's site yesterday Andrew Mooers | 207.532.6573 . I used to shoot Real Estate DIY videos as well as listing videos. I also shot neighbor videos. I liked to pick cul-de-sacs or very short streets for those neighborhood videos. 

I use video for property launches/tours and for education & entertainment on my social media sites. 

My friend Andrew has some good scripts and plans for epic woodland videos, hopefully he will be around here soon to produce some.

I've been using video marketing for nearly 20 years - and NOT the slideshow type that many 'call' a video! However, I am FAR more comfortable on the other side of the camera so, I'm not good at doing video 'talks' or presentations.

I did, for awhile, send video emails and heard back from many that they don't really watch them. They were at work when they received them and couldn't listen in their offices. When they got home, they had many more important things to do than listen to my video!! 

Have done many videos, but never with me in front of the camera.   They are neighborhoods, listings or things to do in the area.

I keep videos focused on real estate marketing.  I am in the Tammy Lankford, camp. 

I have only used it for property tours thus far.  I need to do more, but I really hate being on this side of the camera.

The possibilities are endless as you develop your expertise. Before you leap make sure your property videos are fine tuned.

I am not a fan of hiring our my marketing, I am not sure if this has been the smartest move but it suites me.  

I need to check back on this post later in the day but I am not seeing anything new and exciting on the use of video yet.
