Snow, snow and more snow. Every location on your list has more snow than I have in Oswego, Illinois. And, our forecast is for a dusting at best. Then again nature is having fun playing with all of us and may provide a surprise.

Oh wow, Fred! Hard to wrap one's mind around these numbers for Florida. Trust you are safe and warm.

My dear friends that live in Niceville, close to Peter Mohylsky, sent me a video of the snow and making snow angels.  Rare event indeed.  

Brrr! I'm freezing up here in Massachusetts (a bone-chilling 5 degrees this am), but it sounds like Northwest Florida is getting the real winter wonderland treatment! I mean, 7 inches of snow in Navarre? That's a lot of snow for a place that's supposed to be all sunshine and palm trees! I'm over here struggling to shovel my sidewalk from non-existent snow, and you guys are getting a real winter storm. I'm not sure who's more jealous, me or the palm trees.

On the bright side, I'm sure all that snow is making for some beautiful views and a fun time for kids (and kids at heart). And hey, at least you don't have to worry about shoveling your driveway... unless, of course, you have a really big one! Who needs a beach vacation when you can just stay home and build a snowman?

So, to all my friends in Northwest Florida, stay warm and cozy, and don't forget to send some snow photos our way! We're living vicariously through you on this snowy day.

My husband showed me a video of someone driving in Tallahassee, it was hard to believe that it was real. I would not want to be driving there. It did get very cold here in Lake County and it rain all night.

I'm watching one of my oldest friends who lives in Destin sharing their snowfall! I'm like WHAT! 
So much for global warming! LOL
Meanwhile here it got to 32 this AM but no snow, too dry!

It has warmed up to 11 degrees on this icy morning in Maryland. 

Great minds think alike, BB! The first thing to come to mind was, "SO MUCH FOR GLOBAL WARMING!"

Less in central Georgia.  We had about an inch, but stayed home on Wednesday.  We're both back at work today.

It has certainly sounded like a nasty storm. Must be a challenge dealing with snow when you aren't used to it and perhaps don't have the necessary equipment.

Good for them! Happy to see they are getting some precipitation.

Woke up today and the temperature was ZERO degrees and my dog wanted to go on his walk .  

I saw that New Orleans got 8 inches this morning.  I don't even know how they deal with that.

Fred, not in FL, but outside Denver, and we saw only about 5 total inches at my house, but WOW was it cold.   One night overnight temp was around -12, with wind chill much lower than that.   It is crazy seeing snow in all the Southern cities that never get snow.
