You can't, short of hosting the word doc somewhere and then linking to it. Of course, if someone doesn't have word (like me) it might not be fully viewable. Your best bet is to PDF it and then uploading it to your website and linking to it.

In Word, there's a tool that allows this: Share as Adobe PDF Link It goes to the Adobe Cloud and anyone with the link can access it. Alternatively-
If it's in Word, I'd simply make it a blog and then your post becomes the link to the document. If you wish to link it from elsewhere, for example, on your website: then just publish it there and then grab the link to that page on your site. Word docs on their own are not linkable to my knowledge.

I do not believe it is possible. I would save it as a PDF and then link it.
Why not just provide the link to the HTML page?

Does it have to be a Word doc? Why not convert to PDF and Adobe should allow you to create a share link.

I am no expert, but try highlighting the word document and insert the link. I am not sure if you are using a picture or just words. You may also try screen shot the word document, convert to jpg, paste on word document and insert link.

I'd do like others said and make it a PDF. We are on Flex, so I could upload the file, and not have to do a link. So beyond the PDF, I can't assist you any further.

Needs to be hosted somewhere to have a useable link, try loading it into your Google drive acct or Windows One drive, then generate a sharable link there to post.

The file needs to be hosted somewhere, or linked via a service like MS OneDrive (which is a native MS cloud hosting platform) --- from just a standard word doc, you can't turn it into a link. The doc has to live somewhere in the cloud for others to access it.

I don't think Word works very well with ActiveRain. I was told when I joined NOT to do your post on Word and copy onto the blog post. Just doesn't work.

unless you are hosting the document on your site on a hidden page, that's the only way I can think of that you could link it.
