   "Alice" passed away last week.   Thanks to Arlo Guthrie, she received some fame and notoriety.   Her memoir is titled, "My Life as a Restaurant."

Believe it or not I played Alice's Restaurant (that's not the name of the restaurant) just last week for my family who had not heard it before. I think I was the only one amused as neither Carol or Timmothy knew about this time of protest over the Vietnam war. It brought back a lot of memories to me Candice A. Donofrio

Although my knowledge of music is limited, I was aware of this recording as well as Arlo Guthrie.  And like Fred Griffin Florida Real Estate, I read the recent obituary of Alice.   It's always amazing to me to see how different parts of life are interconnected.
