CA - required to include the broker in all adds by 1/3 of the ad space for the logo and or brokerage info. Many teams "forget" to do this and do cause confusion when it seems like they are the broker when in fact they are part of a larger broker. I always make it clear, regardless of my team, my S-corp, etc. I'm brokered by Big Block Realty.

At Pie in the Sky everything goes, but licensing requirements would require an interview in addition to testing and there would be a 90-day probationary period, haha.

Teams are groups of agents inside of a Brokerage.  The Brokerage must be clearly listed on all advertising and the team lead's license number needs to be included as well.

Sadly we don't really have rules about teams.  However all ads must have actual brokerage name and number.

Some "pie in the sky" brokerages have a remote designated broker who may have the appropriate license and live out of state. An in name only figurehead and a bunch of loose cannons.

I was the designated broker and owner of our company and it had to be clearly marked and used in any and all advertisements. There were no teams either.  And of course I made sure our agents followed the rules....and kept up with any changes as well.  That's the DB's job in my mind!

AZ does not recognize teams as separate from the Brokerage or Broker. 
 

Broker name must be bigger than mine,  office phone must be included.   Every day on social media I see and ignore agent ignorance and violations.   Some agents are scary how little they know.
