Slow market, medium market, fast market, the fundamentals don't change and always work.
1. Price for the market that is, not the one you (and the sellers) wish it was
2. Market thoroughly, and this includes attention to details (MLS input accuracy matters, don't make the listing invisible because the map pin is in the wrong place, the 4 bedroom home is listed as 0, etc)
3. Communicate with your sellers and other agents.

The slow times are put to good use by marketing & public relating plus working your area. Plant seeds, follow them up, perhaps take some certification courses. THIS I KNOW: The answers are there. They are looking for questioners

Folks (buyers) currently want move in ready. The market for fixer uppers has slowed in my area. I think it is not dead but really slow. so prep the home for sale and price it realistically and it will sell.

Havent noticed a slowdown so far.
In any market it pays to know how to lead generate for clients, and how to properly market and negotiate properties, and if you do not know these things then this may be a good opportunity to learn.

Bo I've trained many agents is every kind of market. They're pretty much all the same. Do the right stuff! And by that I mean build your SOI by reaching out consistently to your base via email, texts, in person coffee chats etc. Join several excellent networking groups and don't got there just for you - be about helping other members build their business and in turn they'll be happy to help you. Consider taking the GRI courses and CRS courses....lots of good info in those classes. Also Ninja sales may still be a CRS course, if not there is a group in Fort Collins Co that gives it, Good for you for reaching out and getting ideas....you're on your way!

Learn the New Homes available in and around your community and try to get people to take a look at them. The new home's agents will do most of the work for you and it will allow you to see how a professional works.
