I would say that it depends on the seller:
Do they want to be on video?
Are they articulate/natural enough?
Having said that, I would not want seller to participate more than just a little at the end of the video so as not to detract from the product.
You also run the risk of seller being lampooned (people are like that) or seen in a less than helpful light. 
A 'we came up here and love it here' begs the question where yall going and why aren't you staying? 
What if, like the discussions we've had about 'buyer love letters' . . . seller's presence is not as well received by consumers not like the seller? 
Anything can happen here! 
I'd want a signed document that seller understands once they are memorialized on digital celluloid, it is NEVER gonna be fully removed from the internet.

It sounds a little scary to me Richie Alan Naggar . What if the relationship goes bad down the line? I would be more comfortable with it if there was some kind of "hold harmless" agreement attached written by my attorney.

I'm concerned that exposing them will open the door for a potential fair housing violation.  The buyer will now know their ethnicity and maybe they send that love letter and mention their ethnicity so that if their offer is rejected they can cry foul.

     We have all had listing sellers that could be ideal to capture some media and weave it into the marketing. If you don't use full motion video with sound, the concept does not apply. Just their voice is fine. If they are terrified to be on camera, pass Richie Alan Naggar !

     The buyer and seller are not enemies but too often it is like a court room setting atmosphere with "my buyer arghhh" and "my seller arghhh". What better way to introduce the property owner who say built the place, raised their family here and hear in their unscripted voice a story about how much this place means to them and why. Just a snippet works wonders.

Years ago when I was still active some agents used letters from the sellers about why they called the property for sale as their home. It had some success, so this is a step forward.
