Confirmation of something I've known for some time, if you put in the work early establishing relationships, the foundation is always there.  You can walk away for a long period of time, and step back in and it's as if you've never left.

I joined for business completely clueless of how many true friendships would be formed with people I have yet to meet in person.  Truly priceless.

The thought I had was way back when I first started I had NO IDEA the future of honest-to-goodness relationships being built.  Once I did I said to myself - I am so in!  And here we all are all those years later - such an amazing gift ActiveRain has been to us all!

The happiness when members saw other ActiveRain members they haven't seen in years was palpable. Too bad we can't set up an ActiveRain Camp again. I never got to one but they were mentioned multiple times as a must-do.

That this "community" has been growing and thriving for 18 years and our Zoom calls have been going on since 2020!!!!  What a wonderful reunion. 

Brad used to have Kerrie La Guardia 's job.

I think the power of relationships, online and in person, can take you places far beyond what you might imagine. The spirit and camaraderie of the AR community was so alive today, and will keep growing!

I'm not sure I had any "Ah Ha" moments but it was certainly confirmed that my experience is not unique. Everyone who engages on this platform feels it and benefits from it beyond their wildest expectations. 

My hope is those who attended that haven't been attending feel the enthusiasm and value we experience every week (and day). As a result of this meeting, we now have MORE compelling written content and testimonials to share with all members who haven't been attending... new or not.

ActiveRain is the most civil, value packed, social media platform on the planet.

WOW! Not sure I got just one - more like 20!!!

The excitement was palpable and seeing the group of Who's Who on AR together was truly NEEDED! It's all about the relationships. Even though we haven't seen several of those who were there, they dove in 2006 to 2008'ish (the formative years) and established long-lasting relationships with members. 

Networking vs. blogging - another ah-ha moment.

A few ideas for the dev team arose - can't wait to see how this month's efforts pan out, Margaret. MANY thanks to you - for your friendship, enthusiasm and dedication to making this platform THE place to be for anyone in the real estate business. 😘
