It won't effect SEO, but it sucks not having cached pages - it was very handy to see when they last visited/cached a page.

Plus a few other reasons, like being able to still see a page if the website was down, sometimes you could see pages behind paywalls, you could use as a backup in case of major screw up, etc.

This was a very useful tool when doing website investigations.  Archive.org may likely have some old scans, but the G Cache was very useful and quick.

It should not affect SEO.  It could impact page load speeds if a server is no longer able to serve up cached pages.

I read the article Fred Griffin Florida Real Estate and I don't see anything to be excited about as each product has already been replaced with more efficient products.

Cache doesn't have an SEO factor or meaning. Cached version mission doesn't mean the content is bad, it maybe migrated. You can still use it to debug your site or check on competitors.
