I read my Bible twice a day every day Diana Dahlberg . I am always amazed at what I read even though I've been through the book many times over many years. We use a program that leads you through the entire Bible in a year.

Most of the books I read are novels. I have posted hundreds of book recommendations in blogs. Now, I share recommendations on Facebook as I finish the books.

Anything by James Patterson or John Grisham

OK this is a funny-ish curious-ish story:

In this spiritual group on FB talking about Greek and Roman mythology . . . I was reminded of, and told the group about how my parents (avid readers) had an ANCIENT book, Gayley's Myths, that as a child I was fascinated by and carried around . . . I so wished for that book which was probably not obtainable and certainly not for just a few dollars .  .  .

I Googled it for fun and ONE original hardcover book was available! On eBay, for 12 dollars. A discarded library book that had been checked in and out between 1966 and 1980  (it was published in 1939!) from OF ALL PLACES

My reading tastes run to fiction. I retired from reading business or self-help books a very long time ago as now I read for fun and relaxation. Not much of a fan of the thriller genre. 

All of my reading these days, other than real estate courses, is on studying the body and brain chemistry. 

I am mega into health and wellness. 

I apply what I learn in my deep meditations. There is actually a science to all of this. 

The book I am currently reading is The Metabolic Approach to Cancer.

The decline and fall of the roman empire, SPQR, Andersonville & the Godfather are currently visiting with me. Have many more on deck too

I read The High Tide by Mary Kay Andrews last spring while at the beach. I hadn't planned to take a book since I was going to the beach with my daughter and husband. We made a stop at the library because they both wanted to get books. They're avid readers. I thought we were going to enjoy each others company but since they were going to be reading I checked out a book too. Anyhow, it was an easy read and entertaining enough. I now have my mom reading her books. My mom isn't able to do a lot because of her health over the past couple years so she reads a lot. I'm thinking about reading other MK Andrews books so we can discuss them. 

Thanks to the recommendation of Roy Kelley to read fiction I embarked on the mission starting with Stuart Woods and then Mike Connelly. Together likely over 100 books in the last two years. Both excellent authors. 

I am taking a business class at the university this semester so I will be digging into these 4 books along with a few others.

Have been reading recording studio books, autobiographies on George Martin, Glyn Johns.. and this latest book. After WW2 the UK recording studios lacked latest state of the art equipment but worked around with creative techniques to compensate. 

I used to take out 3 to 4 books a week from the library until the pandemic closed its doors.  Interestingly, I haven't gotten back in the habit of reading books since then. Now I tend to stream whole seasons of shows on Netflix or Amazon.  Which is interesting, because I've never been a big TV or movie fan. Still enjoy being out in nature more than anything.  

Recent choices include SOLD OUT by James Rickards regarding how broken  supply chains, surging inflation and political instability will sink the global economy.

Downsizing Homes @Ricki McCallum and onto to her fiction books next.

The book that has motivated me to stay the course is, The Millionaire Next Door.  It is a book that provides great motivation for the average person to gain wealth.  I think it should be required reading in high school and then again in college.

I bought two books for my trip, both James Patterson.   I watched a show, thought it was a movie, NOPE, it was a series, and ended up binge watching it.   Burden of Proof.   4 seasons, was really good.

Hello and I know I should read more but I do not.  I do listen to books while on trips.   Thrillers.

I love legal books and thriller/mysteries by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child. 

I read Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse when in my early twenties.  It was a life changing book.

Oh my gosh, I just finished two - 1. Lessons in Chemistry (Bonnie Garmus) - loved, that book. 2. A Time for Mercy (John Grisham). Neither have anything to do with real estate but, one was a book club book and the other was a continuation in a series of Grisham novels - both great for relaxation!
