Once your post and comments have reached AR's servers, how you access them won't impact whether they are 'here' or not.  Unless the cutting of the lines interfered with the uploading of the posts/comments, it should have zero effect.

Your fiber optics lines are merely your 'access' to Active Rain.  (ie: the way you view them).   So they should still be there.

ActiveRain Member Support is so quick to get to our questions in this forum!  I was thinking that once they are here, they are here until they get purged.

Were you in the middle of writing them and they didn't show up on ActiveRain yet? If that's the case, they might be gone. If they were already ON ActiveRain they should be somewhere!

I create posts offline on my PC using an editor, Notepad++. The posts are stored on my SSD and automatically backed up to cloud storage every 30 minutes and to two local flash drives every 12 hours using FreeFileSync.

When I am done revising the post, I copy and paste it to AR, then adjust the formatting and images.

If AR or my internet is/goes down for some reason, no problem. I can upload it later. By editing posts offline, I do not lose my work.

If comments are long, you can also create them offline and store them in an AR-Comments.txt file.

Always create backup copies of important files to avoid losing work.

Notepad++ also has built-in backup settings under Preferences, Backup. I set it to make an auto-backup copy every 5 minutes. So, I do not lose my work, even if my PC crashes.

I use an HP ProBook 650 PC with built-in battery backup. So, it keeps running on batteries if the main power goes out.

I follow the NIST SP-800-53 federal information security standard to create a resilient system and workflow with redundancy and recovery features.
Don't allow a single point of failure to cause data loss.

Late to this party, Paul... I was going to say what ActiveRain Member Support said. Hopefully, those posts and comments will show up.

Once those posts and comments reach AR, the cut lines should have no effect on them.

When I posted the material, as I have some 6000 times, all seem to go great. The next morning they were gone.
With comments; I commented to each follower and they were there and would go to another page on AR. I then came back to find no comment what so ever. Very quirky indeed

I knew ARMS would be on top of it! I would also add, if you were in the middle of drafting them and hadn't saved them then, yes, they are likely gone.

Once the comment's made on AR, they remain. Sometimes they are slow to show but I wait until they do before moving on, Paul.

ARMS has this one covered.  I see your comment below Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS

If the posts and comments were there and then went POOF - that would be a glitch in AR.   It is less common these days for that to happen yet posts disappearing in the past did happen.

My thinking is the same as others. One you press POST, it's there forever & should be there.

How do you know it's a tweeker?

Hi Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS everyone seems to have covered the answers for you. I can't imagine what could have happened because once sent to AR, it should be there. I'm sorry you have to go through this.
