But (pun intended) 78 bathrooms in a palace that size may not cut down on guessing where to go. 

Cleaning the "thrones" might be a royal PITA.

I've never pondered how many bathrooms the palace has nor who cleans them. I know it's certainly not the royals. I suspect most of those bathrooms are off-limits (for "business" use) to those who actually clean them.

Never thought about it, but I assume it would be the staff who are hired to take care of the royals.  I very much doubt the royals themselves work in cleaning their bathrooms.

Where does the "go" after you go? After all, Britain is an island. It reminds me of when the sports arenas are full to capacity, the city water system dips in pressure as the public uses facilities
