First be authentic.  I'm not going to go into details, but you should have an idea of what I'm speaking of.

If you're going to offer a service for hire to this community, blog posts that provide clear examples of your work and the benefits to a real estate agent would be key.  Initially you won't have a following, so interacting with others on their posts (without self-advertising) will help build an audience.

As an aside, carve out a niche.  For example, once a week or once a month post some seriously flawed images you have found on listings or were sent to you.  Don't violate copyright law, but satire may make your post newsworthy. Also be consistent and perhaps offer up tips for taking the best real estate images.

Blog, post and comment your head-off. In no time, you will be a celebrity..

Interacting with others is the best way to grow on this platform, in my opinion.  Comment on at least 20 blog posts each day, write at least one blog post each day for others to comment on, and reply to all comments received.  Q & A seems to be its own clique which I am not really part of so I have no advice with regard to it, haha.  Most of all, Have Fun!!!  That's what I do.

Blog about what you are an expert in. In other words, if photography is your thing, start with a simple post sharing a tip or technique. This is a very welcoming community but you have to be authentic. We are very pleased to see new people join and contribute. There is a daily onslaught of fake and/or spammy personas so you'll excuse the skepticism of us members that don't know for sure what type of person that has just joined. It's easy to establish yourself as authentic as you begin to create content. Have real interactions on other people's posts. Link to a website in your profile that works. Show an actual profile photo and not a stock image (or use a logo image if you don't want your real photo shown). We're here to help so please reach out to any here as you can see from all the helpful comments in the Q&A responding to your question.
