There haven't been any recent changes to the format.  The right side bar has a contact form to enable anyone (consumer or Rainer) to reach out to a member.
 
Most active members have a full range of contacts on their blog signatures, and a post is the most likely place for a consumer to first find an agent.

Others members have altered their taglines as you mentioned so the contact info shows in comments and on the profile.

That's a very good point and I completely agree with it. You can workaround it like you have done by stuffing the phone number in a field where it doesn't really belong. I'll add this point to my wishlist of things to fix (I still have quite a few things to keep reminding the dev team about). They are a little swamped at the moment with the latest BTS framework updates, but let's see if we can get their attention to this in the near future.

You can click the contact button and your email and phone number are right there. 

I do not know the answer. 

My phone number is there.  I no longer see the edit icon to edit the profile. Perhaps it is there and I am not seeing it or in the wrong place.

Agreed!!  I need all the agent's phone and email info so I can put them into my CRM for mass mail and mass text campaigns

....just kiddin, I don't do that, but those things are a really good reason to hide contact info without eliminating the ability to contact : )

Never noticed but did make mine more prominent a ways back, Bob. It will be fixed in due time though!

I see it on mine Bob Crane but that may be because I have it on my video. I can see where it would be easy to get it on the page even if they hide it from where it should be.

This is me looking at your page, I'm pretty sure I can see your contact info and call you at the number or get to your site.

My info is there in a contact email field. Anyone can look to the right & find my phone number.

Very rarely does the public view our profiles - they land on a post we've written. Therefore a lot of us went to a detailed signature at the end of each post. There is where I have my number. 

Nothing has changed to eliminate it from the profile though.
