I was raised by a single mom and a great sister, I married the best bride a man could have. My team is 80% women. I don't need a day or month to remind me how awesome they are, I show them that love daily.

There's only one month I celebrate, every month each year, there's only one day I recognize as "National ? Day"
- 365 days per year: Golden Rule Day, Golden Rule Month.
Then I remember birthdays and anniversaries.

Respectfully, long ago, I quit knowing or caring what National X Day it is today or what were supposed to be focused on this month.
Says who any way? It's too much data these days...I sought focus.
Just be good to each other,
be respectful and leave this planet better than you found it.
Amen.

I did and hate the fact that it is not widely publicized so that women receive the recognition they deserve.

 

Back in the day (before real estate) I was honored to be one of the guest speakers at a program for Women's History Month. That experience made me acutely aware of how few people are aware that Women's History Month exists.

Yes I do know that its National Women's Month. Our governor proclaimed March as National Women's month to celebrate the contribution women have made in NC. I'm thankful for the role women have played in history including those who never got the credit. 

Being a wife and mom of a son and a daughter, I'm grateful for men and women. I'd love to see National Women's month empower young girls and women to be all they can be. To be confident, strong, kind and brave.

It's amazing to learn the history of Women's Rights in the United States of America.  There was a time when Women had very few rights and they couldn't vote until 1920.  They still make about 82% of what a man makes ding the same job.  They now are more highly educated and more apt to own their own house that a man.
