Tilly Mezger you are going to have to tell me what an ISA is. I looked it up but nothing made sense to me.

An ISA is an "Inside Sales Agent", for those that don't know.  It's basically someone you hire to prospect for you.

An ISA with a real estate license would be better than an unlicensed one.  Way back when I first got licensed, in the days before the internet, I was an "ISA" for my father (back before ISAs were a thing or had a trendy name).  There are limits to what an unlicensed person can discuss and it's super easy to cross that line.  Plus, no one likes "let me put you on hold while I transfer you" or "I'll have Tilly call you back with the answer" when a homeowner shows interest or asks a question the unlicensed person can't legally answer.

There are a host of legal issues to be careful of, as with any prospecting.  I do NOT recommend using an off-shore virtual assistant ("VA") to make your calls.  If I get one of those calls, it's an immediate hangup, and they're super obvious.

Welcome to ARand no one will work as hard as you.  So don’t commit to anything long term.

Given my experience from receiving calls from "lenders" who use them --- they are beyond script readers with no authenticity. I think ISA actually means "impersonate someone else" ---- and in my opinion not a way to build relationships in our business. And it appears you are not sure, so go with your gut and basics. You can do this! 

When in doubt, don't. I had to read the comments to find out what an ISA might be and my litmus test for these types of Qs is how would you personally respond to such a call if someone had their ISA call you. I consider those types of calls as spam or just another solicitor since if I were ever to put my contact info on your site, it would be because I expected to hear from YOU directly.

I glanced at your profile and it looks like you have a lot of testimonials but that section is a mess. White space is your friend and currently there is none so that may prevent people from taking time to read those testimonials.

It would feel better, I think, if the person on the website contacts the new lead.  Just my opinion.

Don't know what it is but it seems that ARMS is on the ball.

When making the decision to scale your business you do have to let go of a few things, hiring a good assistant to convert online leads seems to be a good place to start.

We all work differently, what is acceptable to me may not be acceptable to others. I personally would not do it unless they are licensed in my state, someone I personally know and trust(which would most likely be myself). If I do something wrong, it would be all on me. Whatever you decide, wishing you all the best.

All you can do is test it to be sure if it will work for you or not.

Many broker agents create teams and include ISA's in their schemes. Not sure if it would come off as impersonal. At some point in business building, there will be too much for you to handle alone.   

I've seen a couple of local agencies give it a shot, neither made it through the last housing crisis.

It's not for me.  I'm a control freak.  I have to know what's being said.  I'm the ISA in my office and I hand off warm leads to great agents at the office.  But I am involved in every aspect of every contract.
