Great question. I get almost 100% of my business (VA Construction loans) from my google pay per click campaign. I watch a lot of YouTube videos but still don't feel like I have a great handle on this. It would be great if everyone could pass on education opportunities that worked for them. 

I do not have a site, but analytics is something my broker keeps up with.  We do have an overall high bounce rate, but we get confused with a lake in another state which creates some people not intending to be on our site.

My first introduction to the answer to your decent question was when I noticed the hits on the top of a google page and how certain subjects get more hits than others. That tells you what subjects people gravitate toward. As to why someone would choose YOU over others in your chosen "subject" category remains worthy of exploring while tweaking & experimenting. Mankind has the ability to see what works & what doesn't work and act accordingly. Of course, how bad do you want it plays a part

That is certainly a foreign language to me, haha.  I have heard of those things but never really took the time to analyze any of them for my business.  My business has been all about getting to know people and forming trusting relationships.

All my sales efforts these days say it with one word: Networking.

To narrow it down even more: Focusing on the art world. 

I am the organizer of the annual Carmel Art Festival that has a wide reach.  I don't get paid for that, but it gets me out in the community for more than real estate.  And people remember that.

I know what they are, I used to chase them.  Not very concerned these days.  Some days are good, others are not.  Spammers skew the metrics at times.  Business focus is different.  SEO does work pretty well though.  Got my first SEO direct booking for my vacation rental site recently.

I am still in the dark ages. I have not produced any videos.

I remember learning in the old Raincamps that a Billboard Web Site(hardly ever changes) is almost worthless 

Analytics just got changed recently but yes I looked at that. I do not do vids like you do.

I do watch Google Analytics, and watch my stats.

Things keep changing all the time and we all need to stay up with the new kind of game.

I created my WordPress website and blog in 2013.  I watched YouTube videos about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keyword research, attracting organic backlinks, writing quality content, etc.
I completed free SEO training from guru Neil Patel. I use his free Ubersuggest keyword research tool to learn what users are searching for.

I have written high-quality evergreen blog articles that attract visitors and backlinks.

I use the Monster Insights plugin to connect to the latest Google Analytics 4, and check the website stats on Google Search Console about once a week to look for any problems, trends, or opportunities for improvement.

My local competition has not taken the time to learn blogging and SEO skills so they are not online competitors.  They have low quality sales billboard websites.

My website is now the highest ranked independent notary website in the U.S., measured by monthly visitor traffic.

All of my content is protected by the WordProof plugin, where I was a beta tester. It generates a hash value for each web page and revision that is permanently recorded on the blockchain.  This is used for evidence of provenance to prevent and detect copyright infringement. 

I do follow my analytics very closely.  It determines where money goes.

My online strategy changes annually and sometimes biannually pending my latest training opportunities. It changed 3 times in 2022 so far!
