I just read a very similar article on the RE/MAX corporate page and have to give kudos to Florida's governor - just WOW! I would love to have our NC governor take that same approach to come together in times of need for our residents. Great story - thanks for sharing, Gary!

Yes I am aware of this as I am a resident of Florida.  In addition to this story there are many individuals who gather supplies and food items to drive over randomly.  We on the east coast have had our share of disaster and know how devasting it really is when people tragically lose everything.

I hadn't heard of this, but after the brush fires out here a couple years ago (Woolsey, Station, etc.) our MLS created a "Fire Rentals" section that allowed for non-traditional rentals that otherwise were banned by our MLS (rooms for rent, shorter rentals, basically your Air B&B type stuff).
