No, I am not a fan of videos.  I do not enjoy consuming them (same with pod casts) and I enjoy making them even less.  Like Candice A. Donofrio said, I'm one of those that prefer to read.  I can usually read and digest the information in the time it takes most people to do the intro to their video or pod cast.

MANY agents that do video shouldn't. TikTok has underscored that. LOL
Either their audio is a damn mess and unlistenable, they are unkempt, inarticulate or otherwise unpleasant to watch/listen to, or so overly produced it's cringe-y like Murph and the Magic Tones (Blues Bros). LOL
The big problem with video is that people still like to read the text.
So if you're GONNA do video, make sure in the description the words are all in there. You might see if you can track and see who ignores the video and just reads the text. 
Could be enlightening.
ALSO who stays through the entire video (should be 60 sec MAX) to the end.

Videos are not in my tool kit. I probably need to become more familiar with them.

The possible problem with these videos is the viewer's attention span. Hollywood has had these problems with movies. Marketing with billboards and even our business cards too! How to hold one's attention?  Unless youtubing is necessary and paramount to what I am doing, wanting or researching, time is to be wisely spent. The Universal rule? "what's in it for me" applies to all we do

HI Will- Rocky Dickerson's presentation and his videos are excellent AND they are very well done. I'm not a big video fan as a consumer because that means I have to put a headset on if I am not alone. I prefer short videos with words I can read.  That said...many people love videos!!!

Looking forward to seeing your videos Will, I hope to get a few up soon too.

I do use them sometimes and use different tools/webpages then those discussed on Tuesdays calls. When I'm going to websites or searching for information (personally) I prefer to read.

Yes.
My video library consists of professionally produced videos.

     (Raising hand). Stocking the shelves of any agent/broker/REALTOR's video channel. Will Hamm , the menu selection in your playlists should be all about the process, the local community events, the property listings.

     Videos are your most valuable marketing tool if done regularly. They only get better if you dedicate yourself to doing them. 

     If all your video channel has is a few Johnny One Take slam bam talking head videos done four years ago wearing the same outfit, don't expect a stampede of subscribers to race and return to your video channel. Nothing there for helpful fresh regular content. Your video is not about you, it is about helping the audience.
