Never really gave it any thought. I have a MAC and not sure the Bob Crane solution works. Then again, I am no techie!

Hold down control while clicking on the links seems to work for me.

or Right click and select open in new tab.

Good idea John!

If you use a mouse, mouse over link and click the mouse wheel. It opens a new tab.

Or, like Bob Crane mentions, Ctrl+left click.

That would definitely be helpful, I try to make all links that I post open in a new tab.

John - I concur with you. There's something strange about that particular list where open in new tab does not act as usual. HOWEVER, my workaround for you is to Ctrl+Click on the person's icon (in that same list). That will open in new tab and take you to the newly formatted version of their PROFILE page. In the new design, you can see their last 4 posts presented in the new visual style. From there you can jump in and see what they have written and make your comments.

As others have mentioned - there is a way to open in a new window without setting the AR default to open in a new window. 

I just right click and open in a new tab and it's easy, just right under their photo and it opens to their blogs and I read one or more of them.

it used to be easier, but I work around by right clicking with my mouse.
