A question like this really has not meaning until the maturity of THE real estate business is known. 10+year business is 90 percent past client and network.
New agents and brokers/teams that need to feed the flock have a different situation. That why they are so willing to give Zillow thousands a month.
No lead source works if money is not spent to feed it.
What I have found is 'Empowerment' gets better quality leads than 'Free.'
What I have found is "INSTANT RESTULTS" delivers acceptable risk so the 'lead' will reveal more information.
These and 3 additional principles were the secret sauce that allowed Rocket Mortgage to take over the parent company.
I created a house Evalution resource allowing the lead to use their knowledge of their home to derive a value that incorporate current market trends, they are empowered, get INSTANT Results and divulge incredible details about their house. The system requires care and feeding but the outcome does not involve chasing vapors.
If an agent or broker OWNS their lead generation source, they own their business.
