Here in Wisconsin ... many of us live in rural areas where we don't have sidewalks, however, just like a good neighbor, we help when we can (especially elderly, or people who are ill)

Actually my neighbors shovel me out. They do around my vehicle, sidewalk and the walkway to my house. At one time I did help my neighbors with the snow removal. Unfortunately my knees no longer will allow me to do certain things and snow removal is one of them. My driveway is open for my neighbors to park when it snows and I do extend my thanks by buying them gift cards from our local restaurants.

Chicago may or may not get hit with significant snow on Wednesday and then again on Thursday. I live downtown in the sky, so shoveling is done by others. Hope it passes to the South.

We've had light snow 3 times this year which is a lot. Non of the wintry weather required shoveling. There were a couple years recently when we did need to shovel and my husband the head shoveler was out of town. The neighbor guys saw me shoveling and came over to help me finish the job. It was probably finished in 15 minutes with their help. I was one grateful person!
