We have used them in the past for some tasks. I am not sure that we still use them. I will have to check. The very fact that I have to check indicates that we probably have no emphasis on QR codes.

How do you scan a QR code with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone?

I am not using QR codes.  I do not believe I ever have used them. I never saw a real use for them. I do not use print flyers. All people need is the property address and the listing and listing syndications will appear on a Google search.  By the way, so does the RealBird marketing. In many cases, Realbird comes up first.

Thank you for letting us know about this.

I tried QR code flyers back in 2016, it was a bust.  Same with "email to ____ for a digital flyer."  I don't think it was that they were too "nerdy" before, but more that there wasn't native support for them for a long time, you had to install a separate app to read them, which people are not generally willing to do.

I did see them a couple months ago at a restaurant, but that was a rarity.  Most restaurants out here (So Cal, Ventura County) still have physical menus and print flyers are still very much alive and well with real estate out here.

I have no plans to use QR codes again in my marketing... there just isn't a market for them here.

Yep, I use them as an easy way for people to get market data on their home and to get an AVM estimate of their home value : )

As I was transitioning to retirement they were a topic, so never took the opportunity.

I never saw them catching on and rarely used them in the past.  They made a resurgance during the pandemic.  I wasn't a fan of these or #

They seemed like a good idea when they first came out, unfortunately there are a lot of nefarious people out there sharing scams, viruses and malware that have ruined anything other than a full and transparent url.

Hate them.  It's super annoying to go into a restaurant and need my phone to see a menu.  I don't believe they will ever be relevant to my business.

I've noticed QR codes being used more often as well. Our favorite restaurant uses them for their menu. Thank you for the change.

heck no, I don't think it really took off.

A few months ago I went into a restaurant & they told me to download the QR code to see their menu. Sorry you're a bit rude thinking that I want your junk on my phone. Now I hate this restaurant.

Good way to spread malware.

Did before, still do.
Consideration must be given regarding the purpose of the code
1. dispense infor (price and data, just enough to hear the sizzle)
2. Lead capture (Free something)
3. Upsell, Video of home and inventory (CTA)
4. Validation (lead capture)
I find success lies in setting expectation when using QR codes.

I used to when I first joined AR over 10 years ago.  But I currently do not.  I've been thinking about adding them back to my marketing pieces.

Our agents use a QR code for clients to access their personally branded mobile app.  Most have this code on the back of their business cards.  Makes it very easy to hand a card to a client and get them to download their mobile app into the client's phone.
