I have no strict numbers to give you, Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist, but it seems far more of our listings are vacant than occupied. At the same time, more houses that are viewed are also vacant than occupied.

Last two years it comes out to 37% of Sharon's listings were/are vacant.  I was very surprised as we have sold more estate and investor properties than I thought.  

I would say maybe 10-15% of the properties I have shown in the last two years are vacant.

Since we do mainly fix & flips, so for us the vast majority of our listings are vacant. 

That varies year to year for some reason. Although my 2021 stats are for obvious reasons in CA LOL. 👇

e.g.

In 2020 80% were vacant. 

20% owner occupied and none were tenant occupied.

In 2021 at least 50% have tenants and are challenging to show,

while the remaining  50% is:40% vacant, 10% owner occupied.

Well, since I focus on land, all are vacant. :-)

I don't know that but the condo I put under agreement last week was vacant. During our search I'd say 50% of the condos we looked at were vacant

Lots are vacant which is surprising. 

I've listed only two in the past year that were vacant. A very small percentage.

Whan active most listings were owner occupied. As for other listings about 80% were owner occupied.

At least 80% are occupied by owners or tenants. 

Currently most our listings are Vacant land, however of the homes we have listed all are filled except for one.

Not a precise figure, but I would say over the last 5 years 75% of my listings have been occupied.  I don't keep track of vacant showings but would guestimate about the same over the last 5 years. And then there are those that are vacant and staged, vs. not!

I estimate that about 20% of my listings and showings have been vacant.  It would be great to know the actual numbers.

I am guessing about 50/50 in both scenarios. Never really thought about it till now. Seems like there have been more vacant recently though. Wonder why?

currently it's 50/50, but that's odd for my market.  Mostly I'd say I run 75/25 vacant/occuppied.  Seems like this year has been closer to the 50/50 mark.  Could be that this "work from home" thing brought people to the lake house that weren't typically here.

Very very rarely would a listing be vacant in my market.  We also have very few leased up here either.  If they are, the landlord handles all notifications of showings and must provide written 24 hour notice.

I only work with buyers.  And 80% of listings I show are weekend/vacation homes with easy appointments.
