As for driving - I do not recommend drinking and driving ... ever!

Joseph,

It depends, one of our clients received a bottle, glasses, etc for the wine tasting that was being done by the master winemaker.  It was for bubbles and he and his wife enjoyed.  Most wine tastings mean that you have to by the wine....Focus on what you like.  A

Hope you enjoy - focus on what you like, unless you have no choice. I have not done one of these so not sure how it all works. As far as drinking and driving - don't.

If you are able to drive before, and attending virtually (not imbibing) you should have no problem driving afterwards.

After a virtual wine tasting, I think a virtual game of Grand Theft Auto would be just fine.

I did one of these last Christmas, it was put on by our Association as a Thank You to everyone who volunteered for a committee that year.  We got a box with 4 different types of wine sampler bottles and the host read about the wine to everyone and we all shared our thoughts.  It was an enjoyable experience.

I insist on being in-person for wine tastings. There are so many nuances that are  missed otherwise. Let us know how it goes Joseph!

If your tasting is "virtual" and done on your computer from your home, I do not think driving should be a problem...just don't.

Drink what you enjoy or taste something new. That is what a tasting is all about.

I prefer live wine tastings. As for driving, virtual has advantages because you are at home. Prefer live with a designated driver.

If by 'wine' you mean 'tequila', and if by 'virtual' you mean 'in person out on the patio at cocktails commandeering jukebox from my phone'? 😎
Yeah. Good stuff!
As far as drinking and driving, of course that's not recommended, but I worry more about hydration, so every drink is followed by a full glass of water!

Depends on how you ingest the wine.

Either way, watch out for the virtual police.

So, sipping via Zoom with others? Presume they deliver the wine?  Here in Carmel-by-the-Sea we are allowed to go to the wine tasting rooms now. The upside of online tasting, you don't have to drive anywhere.

😅!!  I believe in most cases you have to purchase the wine they are sampling ahead of time so you can experience the taste with everyone else.

Now THAT is a clever idea.
We have heard of the virtural dinner party and even the project build.
So selling the tasting kits for the party is clever.
How could we do the same in real estate? Standby...I will post this as an individual question shortly.
Hmm, I wonder how my touch screen will respond to.....you know...scratch and sniff or tongue wagging?
