UPDATE: It seems that the tagging is working, but that doesn't seem to be equating to a notification to the person tagged. At least not when someone responds to a comment. I've notified the feedback team at AR.
UPDATE to my UPDATE: The notification process DOES work for a main comment on a post. It does not work for any response to a comment.
