I have an Android Moto Stylus, but it should be similar on yours.
Go to settings, "Apps & Notifications", then click the "Advanced" drop down at the bottom, then click "Wireless Emergency Alerts" then toggle off the ones you don't want. I have most of mine turned off except for severe & extreme threats and public safety messages. Those out here are used for wildfire notifications.

WOW - that is annoying.
This is among the many reasons why my ringers are turned off at night while I am sleeping.
You have many comments here showing how to turn off those notifications.
Sleep well, my friend.

Mine is a Samsung Galaxy S21+ and I go to settings, then advanced settings, which pulls up an option for wireless emergency alerts. Click on that and you have a ton of options as to the alerts you want.

* * * Thank you, Everyone! * * *
I found my way to "Wireless Emergency Alerts".
Just below, to the right, I clicked "Settings".
That brought up a menu which included "Alert Types".
Types included:
Presidential Alerts, which cannot be unchecked.
Extreme Alerts
Severe Alerts
Amber Alerts
Public Safety Alerts
State/Local Test Alerts.
- - - I unchecked them all - - -

Fred, you touched a hot button with your title and knew an answer would be here already. Thank you for asking the question I'm going to reel in some alerts tomorrow with new settings.

Not sure that you can. I was in a meeting with a hundred agents a few years ago when one of these went off, the speaker couldnt help but notice the buzzing.

When I was getting these, I had signed up with the local police department, and had to go on-line there and delete the alerts.
