There's a handy work-around whilst the dev team fixes things in the background. No need to create a new blog post (although that works, too), just:

You have to use a workaround from Craig Daniels to edit an existing blog post until the updates are completed.

I'm so frustrated with trying to post, and then edit, that I've decided to take a hiatus from posting to my blog until the edit button returns.  I just posted something new, and wanted to break up a run on sentence but am woe to make it happen, even when trying to use Craig's workaround.

When I plug in:

activerain.com/action/blogs_admin/write /5644028

I get "Where's my Keys."

As you can ascertain from the comments here, you are not the first one to run into the current roadblocks that exist as updates and revisions are being made to the Active Rain platform.

While the site is under construction Craig Daniels has provided a solution to your problem.
