Watched two or three of them. Compare them to Zillow's "kid misses his dead mom" commercial and these fall short. The biggest thing they're missing is that the public thinks "Realtor" is a job title. If anything is taken away from this, it's that all real estate agents have a code of ethics... regardless of if they're members of the trade union or not.

I dread the thought of another wave of advertising from NAR. I guess you can assume, I have not seen them and in all honesty, I do not want to see them either. I can only imagine it will get me worked up and even more disenfranchised with the association and how they waste our money.

Thanks for providing the link. I watched them. My opinion: Weak & reinforces what many of our public thinks our role is: open the door. Period.

You would think with the amount of money they receive the commercials would be better, oops I forgot they need a pay raise!

Got an email, didn't open the links. Don't watch much TV these days and even if I do, I tune out during commercials so probably won't be seeing them.

I think they miss the mark. But I did kinda like the Family one a little. BUT what's with the emphasis on the Code of Ethics?

I have seen them.
They share the same characteristics of NARS efforts of the past. It seems NAR fears actually hitting a home run. Like in past efforts they get to the 20 yard line and fizzle out.
Long tenured agents seem to want to rush the red zone with 'internal' messsages of NAR, completley unrelated to what will motivate the home buyer or seller.
Sigh....wait till we see a big pile of agent cash was used to get Kamalatolah as speaker at the next NAR convention. See, same ole, same ole.
What is NAR not telling us that has compelled such emasulated action. Anyone here, most anyone here, could create a more compellling message.

Have not seen them But I dont expect much
NAR doesnt seem to be too good on logos or advertising
but they like to spend money.....

Yes. Two of the 4 spots focus on commercial property. The family one seems to be flirting with language that could be considered a Fair Housing violation, and the taglines basically call us door openers, something we've all spent years trying to say we are more than. Awful.
2,684,769
No TV, no radio, and anything from NAR goes straight to my spam folder. So no, I haven't seen them.

I find the one that says it takes a realtor to find the right 2000 in a neighborhood for kids to be a little bit on the "does this cross the fair housing line", but frankly the public doesn't understand or care who's a member of the club so I see it as a waste of money.

I waatched a few Kathleen. Confusing message all the way around. I would not use them. Food bank, realtor, code of ethics? That's who we are? Naaa.
