Good one John Juarez ! You got their number. It must work or they would stop fishing. It's like sonar, the ping when it hits something returns to tell the sender keep pinging. Home in on that marketing signal and keep calling, emailing, wear them down. Until they take the bait. I worry most about old folks who actually get sucked in and pulled out deep over their heads.

There is a difference between malicious spam email and email in your spam folder.
But, the point of your question is similar to what happens if you give to a charity...some how they all find out about a new giver.
