Good for them ... they will have more $$$ when they sell ... and likely pay more wherever they plan to buy.  

Might be a great opportunity to explain the safety precautions that you utilize and potentially help them move up their timeline....

I had a number of sellers who decided to hibernate, instead of list, through 2020. They were scared of Covid and they were afraid their value would take a beating.

No amount of information would change their minds.  let's see if they're willing to poke their heads out this spring.

I have a couple of clients that are waiting until later in the year, probably late spring, early summer. No matter the precautions taken, they are leery of people coming through their homes at present.

Good for you, Will. I bet they appreciated hearing about what the housing  market is doing in your area.

Interesting! I would be hard-pressed to find 3 expireds in my market that I would want to sell! 

So sad for them that they are waiting and it is going to cost them more when they buy their next home. 

So what did you learn, Will?  People sell and don't sell everyday.  Hopefully your activities(this along with others) result in meaningful connections.  

So they can now list for more? Imagine that. What a great market you have Will.

How many appointments did you schedule with these cancelled/expired calls?

Many are deferring sales and purchases during the pandemic.

Real Estate only works when the word "willing" is called into action like willing buyer or willing seller until then comfort in fence sitting is not found

I haven't seen any expireds in my area for a long time. Waiting to list is going to cost them more money but perhaps they're not concerned about that.

Allowing time to lapse (seller endured the real estate agent siege on expiry event) produces better results.
The market increase is often difficult to explain in context of the daily news. Those most affected by Covid are finding the gap between renting and owning widening every year.
