Chris, I THINK changing your blog name requires help of the tech staff. Perhaps ActiveRain Member Support can answer.

The Error Message pops up often as they are working on the upgrades and trying to erradicate the bugs. I think ActiveRain Member Support can help with this Change as noted by Debe Maxwell, CRS

I am getting the message on everything. I can not even create a blog post

The development team is aware of this and are working on it. Depending on what you are doing when you get that error will dictate the workaround until the dev team gets the bug fixed.

Support is your source to resolve the matter!

I've come across that error message several times in the past.  I usually leave and come back and try again the next day or whenever I have the time.

Hey Chris I hope you get some help from the higher ups to change the name for you as Debe Maxwell, CRS sugggested.  You've had stuff going on since the very early days.  Soon....this mess will be fixed!

It takes a high level clearance to handle some changes here, as the system changes many things require high level tech skills.

Just have to wait it out and keep trying at later times.

Can't just change your name or area Chris.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I just searched the error on Google and landed on this thread. I am new to ActiveRain, just spent $199 to become a Rainmaker, and cannot update any of my profile.

I am having the same problem when I try to update portions of my profile - it's not just you. Hope it's resolved soon!
