Depends on your community.  In my area I can count on the local city website, as well as using the county's website.

This all depends on where you live. Where I am, CCRs are often attached to the MLS listing or they can be obtained from the title company. Dimensions are found on a "Cadastral" site or on a survey of hte property.  Some lots have requirements on building size/etc, and some don't.

Good luck!

If I couldn't find that information from the listing agent or tax records, I would reach out to my title company.

We have online sites for that here - via our tax site, our MLS and the county site. The builder/developer should have this information he/she can share with you (unless you're looking for the developer).

     Pre-search from a Title Company.

RPR if you are a NAR member.

Larger subdivisions/neighborhoods/condos may have a physical office for their HOA.  Visit them.

County records (most of them are online).  City or county building department, zoning (land use).

Also, has the property been listed before?   See if there are Associated Documents or Sellers Disclosures in previous MLS Listings.

And ditto to what Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist said about "quick and easy".

Since I am a licensed Realtor, thru my brokerage I have access to RPR, Landvision and MLS. First, go to city/county office and take it from there. Oh, and my title company could also find some of it out.

OK so you are Utah County.

You have Assessor records. With quite a bit of available information.

And you have a GIS.

Probably the GIS will allow you to view dimensions, plat maps, topo, etc.

FIRST, I would go to MLS and see if the property was listed before (or perhaps is listed; maybe the listing agent acquired some of that info for you. I know I would!)

THEN, I'd contact Development Services at City/County and confirm zoning, get resources for density, etc.

THEN, I'd ask my favorite title company for CCRs if I did not already have them, to check for minimum SF and architectural standards, etc.

Most of the PUDs have websites with governing/community documents for pulldown.

It is easy when you know how. Is there a 'one stop shop' for all this stuff? Probably not, but this is why land carries the most liability - and the best brokers have all these resources on their desktop for quick click!

Start with your local or county office who is responsible for land records. The tax card would have lot size and the building dept any mininums you need to build.
