Expect issues like no rent being paid, foreclosures, repairs, vacancy losses however despite all that, money invested in Real Estate today will appreciate and equity is free money. Cash or money in the bank will decrease by comparison. Invest in SFD or income property and rent to military, state or federal personnel to mitigate risk to your investment

I am searching for land for a cash flow business, more focused on the business ROI than the land appreciation. Bullish on 2021 and not concerned about "finding the bottom" in real estate, I have no crystal ball for that. LLC would be my preferred entity for holding the property.

I am mulling over whether a purchase of a home in a place in which I may want to retire makes sense. Get a low interest rate now not at a rate that I think will be higher in the future. Buy at today's price not the higher price I think is coming. Rent it out until I am ready to move. If I never move, well, it will be a good asset to own.

Just thoughts going trough my head.

ARGH, I have been threatening to do this for a few years and I'm getting ready to get ready. I have two commercial lots in two different areas that are both up and coming. I need to get the infrastructure in both of them and see if I can lease them out built-to-suit. OR, lease the land to let them develop which I prefer.

We have considered buying a condo in an area like Breckenridge, Colorado—a place that I frquently go for ski trips. Figured it could listed on Airbnb and used as an investment property. Covid definitely put a hault on that plan, but we'll see what happens as we turn the page and enter a new year.
