Yes, for a long time, Chris. I use AR more for back-links right now. Until they get the site back up and running, I am focusing on blogging on my WP site.

I would not describe it as so much an issue as a natural reality of the Internet and the algorithms of search engines.

your ActiveRain post appeared on page 1, position 7.

AR is undergoing changes...some intended and some not.

Chris - Although this is important, it seems there is no shortage of "issues" for ActiveRain.  

Hello Chris Ivy - I do not check to see if what I post on AR is indexed or when it gets indexed.  I do that routinely on my WordPress posts because I wait for indexing before sharing on other sites, like AR. 

You have a couple of comments from others that provide good information.

It probably depends on what you are searching for.

Nothing is guaranteed to show up on Google searches.

To see if the pages are indexed, enter the full URL of the post in Google and do a search.

- If it's indexed, it will be the first organic result on the page.
- If it's not indexed, it will say something like: "Your search - https://activerain.com/blogsview/... - did not match any documents."

I post so many blog posts that google cannot avoid them.

If I post something I truly want the public to see, I post on my website first, then later in the day or the next day to AR.

I found it, but not sure your titles are working for consumers to find it.

You can't guarantee that G will index anything no matter what platform you use.

The battle to place on Google is never ending, fleeting & expensive. My stuff is there but not on the first page sometimes not the second or the fitth. What helps being found is the title of the posting. Abstract titling doesnt work well

Not an issue for me. I really don't care!

I don't normally check. I also post on my WP blog and those get indexed pretty quickly. Perhaps things will improve when the upgrades are completed.
