Ruin TV for most of the country? I doubt that very much.

The only team that is synonymous with Thanksgiving Football is THE COWBOYS! The others are just imitating. I've spent many a dinner checking the game on TV while getting another round of food. Not this year though, no restaurants doing buffets. :( Stupid flu virus wannabe wuhan

No, I think that this year we should prioritize public safety over a game.

It is a Thanksgiving tradition since 1934! Yes, the tradition should continue. Chicago won the first game!

12:30 am? Who would be watching at all? I have lost all interest in professional sports, so it matters not to me.

I like the tradition. During grad school, I had the opportunity to take in a Thanksgiving game in the old Silverdome. Had a great time. Lions were bad then too but the fans were there for the event. If the Lions won, all the better. It would be very difficult to have the NFL stop the tradition. And I know more people who dislike the Cowboys - was fun watching Washington whup them yesterday.

Of course.
And the race should remain on July 4th.
And bowl games on the holidays.
And as far as ruining TV, that happened so long ago we have forgotten what good TV is.
