Isn't it interesting that after reading all the comments first - there is no clear and definite rule for mask usage.  You'd think there would be after all these months.  What does that say?

No to wearing a mask in car Or while on golf course.

We use disposable masks and have on hand for clients.

Disposable ones until they break.  I think this whole exercise is nonsense and am not wasting money on masks.

The washable masks get washed often enough to make me feel comfortable wearing them. As for the disposable masks, they get thrown away when I think it is time to do so.

So...no arbitrary time for either.

I reuse mine quite often because I have a 99.97% chance of recovery with or without one. I also refuse to drive with one on or wear one outside.

I use disposable one for grocery store, it gets trashed after one use. I have a cloth one for in office and around my Mom who doesn't live with me. The 3 ply cotton cloth one is easy to wear all day and I have eight of them, wash after wearing, dry in sunshine. I try to give more than six feet. With 2000 people dying daily this is no joke

They are to be replaced after each outing!  We use hospital grade disposables but the cloth versions I've found, are not being used effectively.  Being extremely high risk, we don't mess around with alternative theories as we cannot take the risk.  Most opinions are coming from people who failed Grade 10 science class too :(

We wash them after every other  use and dry them outside in the sunshine and breeze. We are inside most of the time working, and the few times we are out amount to grocerry shopping (we are quick there are two of us) amd going out to lunch. (10 minutes away). A

Usually, until the elastic ear piece breaks and snaps and hits me in the cheek when I am taking off. Although, once since it was the only mask I had available, I skillfully ran the elastic piece back through the hole and tied a knot. It worked!

When the strap breaks on the disposable one.  Then I cut the straps to prevent it from strangling any form of wildlife.  The only thing the masks are doing is (1) creating fear in people (2) adding to landfills and (3) creating miserable death for wildlife that get their heads around the straps.

I use the disposable ones when needed. I throw it out agfter 1 long use or 2-3 short uses. You tend to know when it needs replacing. I am not wearing one outside, that is just crazy.  I do my best to stay away from people. In real estate the clients some times ar euncomfortable, so i have to make them comfortable, keeping a little distance but assuring them through out

Wearing a mask can cause problems,

So I tested to see when wearing a mask STARTS causing me a problem.
First symptom is coughing.  Exactly the worst benefit of wearing a mask.
So when I start coughing, I replace the single use mask.
When the full test was executed it took 3 days to recover my stamina and full breathing capacity, and I not ill or in possession of a pre-existing condition....well maybe one.
