I agree but all I will do this year is to buy a prepared meal as a take-out, supporting local restaurants. It will only be me and my boyfriend. Rather be safe than sorry.

I am hoping to find a turkey breast for ours. I saw a recipe the other day that called for rubbing it with olive oil vs. butter. I might try that.

LOL apparently not here in Phoenix.  There are all sizes of turkey flying out off the shelf when we were at Costco today.  In fact turkeys were flocking around the bin.....hard to get in and find the right size.

Last time I was at the store they were  pretty small compared to usual years. I would say 10 pounders at most.

No turkey for the two of us this year. Just a breast and leg with thigh.

I have even heard of a potential shortage of turkey breasts do to so many families avoiding joining together with non-household members for this year's Thanksgiving.

For those planning a "protest" with a large gathering, expect looting of the leftovers before they leave.  So, a large turkey and/or ham will be required.

Of course our Thanksgiving was in October and we knew to distance ourselves from everyone due to our high risk.  We had air fryed Turkey Wings and that kept everyone happy.

In my area of PA, the turkeys are selling of all sizes.   Some stores have already sold out of turkeys of all sizes.  Remember, everyone loves turkey leftovers for different recipes after Thanksgiving and it makes great low calorie snacks.

Oh Not At All... One year I bought one 30 or so pounds and it wouldn't fit in the oven. Had to cut it in half...lol Pam was not happy =:o(  SOOOO Pam doesn't allow me to shop for turkeys anymore. I think she got a 16 pounder this year. (That just a chicken on steroids)
