If you are going to pay the attorney to fill out the contract, would the attorney not go over the contract and explain it to you  as part of that fee?

If I was buying property in another state, I would propuly use a local agent and ask for a referral. The would use the most current form and I would review it before signing it.

Of course, I am not familiar with North Carolina real estate pruchase procedures.

interesting.... our forms must be dated the year they are being used. On January 1 of 2021 the 2020 contract can no longer be used for a new listing or offer.... according to the license agreement to use them.

My suggestion was to contact Nina Hollander but she has already answered the call.

Wouldn't the attorney you plan to use know this?  We do not use attorneys in the Land of Oz (CA) so the concept of an attorney in a real estate transaction escapes me.

You said you don't have attorneys write your Contracts - we don't either....and, like you, attorneys only do the Closing and I would venture to say an experienced broker knows the Contract better than any RE attorney! LOL 

In what part of Western NC are you buying?
