Please, no asking questions to self advertise for business.  Write a blog post about it, no concerns at all, but using Q&A to solicit, not so much.

Question edited rather than deleted.

We've missed you too, Tim.

Thanks for the heads up.  Another reason to be glad I'm retired.

Edit: Perhaps if you reword your follow up comment (under the question) to notify us that there are widgets available to deal with the issue... not specifically promoting YOUR service?  In the meantime, please do write a blog post about it.  We can reblog.

I designed my own WordPress website and blog.  WordPress has an in-house team of accessibility-trained developers. WP core software and its bundled themes are accessibility compliant.

But, third-party themes and optional plugins are not required to be accessibility compliant by WordPress. WP users should check the software features for accessibility before installing new themes and plugins.

I learn the rules for web accessibility by self-study reading and free online courses. I test, avoid or remediate conformance issues in my user-generated content.  If I find a problem in the theme or plugin software, I send a bug report to their tech support for correction in the next software version.

In my business records, I keep a spreadsheet log of my website testing, problems found, and fixes made.

I added an Accessibility Statement page to my website.  These are becoming more common now as a good faith notice that web accessibility is a priority at a business.

I don't think adding a widget or overlay is a good approach. If the website has compliance issues, they should be fixed. Content creators and web designers should learn the rules to create ADA compliant websites and content.

WordPress is holding its first 24-hour online WP Accessibility Day on October 2, 2020.

This question really staddles the line between a "question" and a "solicitation",

Most are only a bandaid approach anyway.

I'm glad to hear this finally, as one of your clients, I've been ignored and ghosted when asking you and PropertyMinder (AccelerAgent) customer service about this issue. Great to finally get some much needed clarity and assurances. Thank you for the good news; now lets improve communication.

America settles things via lawsuits. You can be sued for anything. Winning or losing is another matter...Nusiance suts abound but there is a rhyme ot the reason and usually go away if not successful in "hooking" someone. I also have seen judges rule agasint them even if right as they dont like the abuses

I was threatened with a lawsuit for using photos and removed them.  An attorney advised me to ignore the threat and it should go away since it would be more expensive to go after me than the amount they might collect.  I did so and haven't heard anything in about eight years.  I have learned that they are now more proactive in their pursuit of lawsuits so be careful.
