I continue to adapt to what is necessary today. I expect to retain any new skill that I am acquiring if it is beneficial going forward.

Bend or break is upon us all. How and when is subjective. I learned long ago about the "flow" of life and how to catch it and ride it around. Go with flow!

The sense of whether or not I've adapted depends upon the hour... Since this all still seems to be evolving/emerging in terms of what will "stick", I'm not sure which habits I'll even be allowed to return to but I know going to the grocery store without a "mask" is on the top of my list.  My "new found" strengths aren't really new at all:  my commitment to communicaton and education is a great trait to have these days with my clients.  :)

You really don't want to know what I really think...lol...My life will return to what's normal for me. I reject the phrase "new normal" That being said, I have learned about video chat rooms and will utilize them. 

Now on the very real side...When Pam & I were in the corporate world and raising our sons many times it seemed like we were two ships passing each other. Life was busy, busy, busy & hectic. Fast Forward to today...Pam has been wanting me to go on a bus trip with a busload of other old people... hahaha...I was hesitant and resisted any type of answer. She kept interjecting over days, weeks, and months about a bus trip... Finally, I said "You know, the reason I'm hesitant is that in all our 46 years of dating and marriage we've never spent 2 whole weeks together 24/7 and we've developed quite differently. Do you think we can spend 2-weeks together 24/7 and not kill each other?"  To my surprise, she said, "I know what you mean." We both laughed. That was pre-plague...Now having spent 7-weeks together 24/7 WE ARE BOTH COMFORTABLE...lol!! AND I guess I'm goin' on a bus trip...hahahaha That's my story and I'm stickin' with it

Adaptation, like change,  is a part of life.  They may not always be a friend but it is a constant companion-of-sorts.  Those who don't understand. . .well, that's a part of life(and evolution).  That makes me think of the Darwin Awards...

I think many people are just plain scared. I'm sure I'm 'evolving' but just not sure. But like Brenda said, get rid of the damn masks already. 

Yes I have, in fact, so much so I like our new normal. I just wish more clients felt safer to resume our activities of  buying & listing.

My old habits were Wuhan-ready. So, not much changed and I did not change anything for the pandemic other than shelter in place and masks at grocery stores (not until forced in mid-April) personally.

Yes, the reason I enjoy life in May is because the strengths I count on prevail and my personal history of life traumas prepared me for this; this pandemic was NOTHING in my world (other than a financial burden). Emotionally and health-wise, I went through way, way worse in 2007 and 2018; so I kicked ass on Wuhan.  Tenacious T.

I don't think I/we have changed at all.

I had my first paying job at age 9 as did my husband...I learned to ride the public bus alone and my husband ran a crew of kids picking corn.

We both learned at a young age to adapt to "life...whatever that is.

My old habits are very good healthy habits I intend to keep.

This is day 60 of not driving my car. This is quite an adjustment for me.

I have always used massive amounts of santizer in this business. I am seeing a split of those scared by the media and those pretty fed up with the medias scare tactics. something will shake out for sure

What have we really learned?
That gov'n authorities can impose conditions that prohibit the most sacred and important values one can embrace.

The lesson learned is a more creative resilience that avoids centralization of those practices held near and dear.

The land of the free and the brave only exists when it is made to be so by each individual.

It is not about defiance but is about systemic resilience of the aware.

I enjoy many of the new efficiencies.

It will be interesting to see which agents will flourish and which won't.  Some will rely more on technology, some won't. I suspect we will get a whole lot more junk email, but will it work? I'm staying my course, learning along the way, possibly including some new found skills the past couple of months.

Our business was affected, so been home MUCH more than ever before.

Is it wrong to think that this has been a Godsend for me? As a workaholic, this time has given me a more healthy focus - on life and business. I am at peace and totally refreshed! 

I am sure I will keep some new habits.  Mainly the supliments my wife has me taking which have made me feel better.

I've adapted in the sense that we started picking up take out food for lunch and going to local parks.  That's been a lot of fun (oddly who knew?)!!  We've found some pretty interesting places we had no idea were there. So call that a strength of 'discovering new stuff' and call it a YES to continuing!

With that said.....I absolutely will go back to enjoying our favorite restaurants ASAP too!

Yes, I will gladly and happily return to old habits.  If we don't, the terrorists win!

Not much really changed for us personally, other than I wear a mask when required and take more precautions. ( and use more hand sanitizer)

I have more confidence than ever as it has been survive and thrive for us.  Most of the changes will not stick once this pandemic is behind though.

Adapting and adjusting is something that we humans are capable of, it is necessary to get through life successfully. However, I will never forget that my uncle died much sooner than he would have because he was put in isolation in a rehab unit and was unable to see his family for several months.

I've gotten really good and strategic with my grocery orders. I'm hoping over time that the demand will decline.  I plan to stick with this.

My neice is a doctor and many of my friends are as well, in several different countries. The one thing they all seem to agree on is that this is not a short term problem and that they were all told back in February that this was going to be a minimum of 2 years in safe guard restrictions.  Most people couldn't handle the thought of ongoing restrictions for a month let alone 2 years!   This is our new normal and people need to adapt or die is what they were told.  Personally, as an introvert I quite enjoy the self distancing.  People becoming resourceful again, learning how to cook and do things for themselves.  I hate the thought of so many dead and at death's door and so many businesses going under and vast unemployment.  I don't believe we'll ever completely return to what people thought was normal.

I will use Zoom or similar apps to communicate more going forward. Previously, I always preferred in person.

The only constant is change. So to some extent yes and to some extent no!

I sure hope we'll all learn from this.
