Yep... everything you find in the Q&A... just like the rest of AR, as long as it's not marked "member's only" would be searchable via Google. 

Lots of things cross my mind.  Some including thoughts of Google are quickly gone.  

Even a Members Only question is just a screen grab or copy/paste away from bing posted publicly. Always be mindful of what you say online ay any time Eva! But even then, some like to twist it to their advantage or to suit themselves.

Unless your answer is either anti Google, or against the mainstream media narrative or even against any democratic talking points, Then it will not be found on Google as they would sensor it and it would be blocked or go poof in the night.

Go to google and search your name on this site.  If you aren't sure how to do that, put your name in quotes, then put site:activerain.com in the search bar as well.  That will show you what google will find that you've posted on this site.

I have always tried to keep that in mind when I am posting something on the internet, whether it be an answer to a question or personal blog post.  I think I tend to get snarky at times, but hopefully, that isn't out there too much, haha.

Yes, they are searchable by google.   You should consider your responses public anyways, as on several occasions quotes have been lifted without our knowledge or consent.  Personally, I've been contacted a few times by writers to use my quotes or for more information on them for articles.

But as far as the Q&A section popping up in a google search on water rights or the most important fiduciary duty, the site's SEO isn't that good.

If the question is public so are the comments.  Like others have suggested, I proceed in life as though everything I say and do is recorded in some fashion or another.

I don't answer based on whether or not the question is private or public - it really doesn't matter.

Someone can easily snag a screenshot anyway so, answer as though the world is listening and you'll be fine!

We are all public figures and need to act accordingly.
