Science vs myth.

My decision to were a mask when appropriate in an attempt to keep myself, my loved ones and those around me safe from a life threatening disease has noting to do with politics.

Too much conflicting information whether masks other than the N-95's are all that effective. Examples of  masks that offer minimal protection other than emotional, Nancy's scarf, or homemade masks or the blue and white ones you see people sporting. (As reported on our news station)

It is amazing the level of division that has been sewn into our country by those working from behind the scenes to destroy this great country.

I am not able to offer up a life-form that wears a breathing mask. We are dealing with things that only an electronic (super) microscope can see. Whatever lives in that world reigns supreme. We are just visitors. Act so

No I didn't. If it's not real estate or career catapulting info these days, I don't waste my time with it. I don't waste my time with unhealthy masks either; except when forced to in grocery stores. Fresh air and 6 feet do the trick.

We have to consider the source - these are politicians! I think most Americans are more responsible!

I have a nursing background and wearing a mask is a public health-conscious thing to do. It matters not what political party you are affiliated with! Air droplets, depending upon the velocity, can travel over 20-feet. You have NO idea the trajectory of a sneeze either. 

My point is, I'm maintaining 6-feet distancing, washing my hands, wearing gloves & mask and using the heck out of my hand sanitizer when I am out.  

Do I think it's over-kill? YES but, because I am NOT A SCIENTIST, I absolutely refuse to be 'the one' who spreads the disease and have someone die from my irresponsibility. 

Based on my own observations thru many years of being my Mother's medical advocate as well as my own illness over the past 3 years, I've realized that medical advice is based more on opinion and ego than on facts.  Each specialist has their own opinion on disease management and are horrified when questioned. 

The same is playing out with this pandemic.  I trust no one and remain in seclusion in my home.  I'm like the groundhog waiting for the true Spring!

Don't need this article to see how the pro trumpers are against masks and social distancing. Just look at pictures of the protestors who want the country opened up now. Trump 2020 signs and guns are what they think will keep them safe. It doesn't help that they told us masks don't work because they did not have enough of them to go around.

I can not remember the common flu ever taking out 2,000 people a day for weeks on end.
