Another option, do whatever you need in Excel, then screen capture your table and save it. You can then import as a picture.

Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI Did you figure it out?
If you are using a computer, you can simply use the arrow keys to advance the cursor to the outside of the table. I tried it and it worked easily. If you are on a tablet, you may have to pull up the vitual keypad. Then use the up/down arrow.

I paste an Excell table into about 30 market reports each month.
Very simple process.
Perhaps you should write your post first then paste the table in where you want it.
After pasting it in, there is a tool on your toolbar that will allow you to modify the appearance of the table.

I've always just copied and pasted the cells I wanted directly into the blog. Worked fine for me. Just make sure you have some blank lines around it so you can easily type after it. Otherwise you'll have to go into the code of the blog and add some text before the <table> line or after the </table> line.

Raymond, I had a devil of a time figuring that out too. I wound up screen-shoting my charts after that. It works just fine unless you're trying to link something in the chart.
Good luck!

I used to post a spreadsheet that I turned into a photo quite some time ago, as AR Support suggested. Glad you got what you needed, Raymond.

Maybe you can save the Excel table as HTML, then paste it in code view.

Add space blah blah before you paste the scread sheet and then align the column ... nothing to it.

I copy the table and paste it in the text side of an html editor. when you use the paste feature be sure to use the 'past special' and save the format or you will lose the table structure. The i copy and then paste the html code in the ar html editor. Works every time.
Saving the table as html might work but it adds a lot of useless excel code which might be more than the character limit in ar.

Thank you for the advice, Joseph Domino 480-390-6011. I appreciate the effort, but it did not work. My cursor is locked within the table. I am sure it is something simple, but it is beyond me so far.

I'm a bit late as I see AR gave you the same answer I would have. I use a great program called Duck Link that is free on the Major Geeks web site Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI

I believe it was Dick Greenberg that wrote a how-to post on this years ago. I believe he was using a table for market report data.
