Why put a Scarlet "C" on a property and stigmatize it? There is way too much media hyperbole & political manipulation around this virus. We should all take the appropriate precautions.

As far as making marketing highly localized I agree with your assessment

I'm taking C-19 seriously, even with the high level notices about "Confirmed C-19 in Flathead County Montana." I don't need to know exactly where it is. In fact, if I DON'T know where it is, I'm more likely to be careful everywhere if I do indeed need to go out. Not just at Roscoes Chicken (if there were a Roscoes here).

In terms of our marketing, I do think highly localized is better.  

Too much of anything at some point has a reverse affect....

No because there are nuts out there that will go do something to the business or attack what's left of the employees. They already had this happen somewhere.

I take it serious in general and specifically. Nobody wants to expose themselves to this. There are some risks going to work and to stores. I take precautions going out for necessities and essential work. If there's a confirmed case at a specific store I won't be entering the store again til this is over.

Localized marketing gets you in searches while the property and price compels buyers.

You and I can not control how others do or do not accept any situation in life. But working on our little corner of the World, from home with family and friends in the local community. Those that are not taking it seriously are part of the problem.  I am taking it seriously.  4/6/2020 will make 3 weeks I've been sheltered in place.  I may need to make another grocery run soon. I will only go to the store when I need food. 
Like Religion. Like Politics (Yes, I said two words I generally avoid using at all costs), the Virus ties to "beliefs" and we know people die every day fighting and defending beliefs.  

I do believe more accurate data and information about the virus and the body may cause people to take it more seriously.

It really doesn't matter where it is - it's going to touch everyone's life more than just restrictions, at some point.

Yes and No! I am going about my work week as I always have. People are coming to my office and I am going to peoples homes on a daily bases. No ordinances are being broken. I miss the resturants and my one beer a week with friends. All in all my mindset is if I get it I get it. If I get it I either recover, GREAT, or I die and go meet my Lord and Savor Jesus Christ. If you are waiting for someone near you to be infected or die, you are not taking Covid-19 seriously enough. It is the lack of precautions such as social distancing that is prolonging the spread of this disease.

NYC, where this is the worst, is not yet at the apex of its curve for infection. The city is going to be out of ventilators soon and the loss of life is going to spike. And then that wave is going to move across our country.  I'm taking this very seriously, not just to protect myself, but others as well.  There is now evidence one in two people shows no symptoms, ever, but can be severely contagious. I would hate to unknowingly pass this illness to a client or friend. 

I feel that I am.  I stay inside most of the time, other than to grocery shop once a week.  I also still play tennis if I am able, but we always keep our distance and touch racquets rather than hands.

We are staying at home.

We are taking it very seriously in Monterey County, CA and our low numbers reflect it. At this point, we are staying in place until April 30 but I won't be surprised if that gets extended. And so be it. As an independent real estate brokerage I feel so fortunate that I was able to adapt quickly. My clients are very supportive; we are working towards a common goal. As to the larger community here? I can only imagine how tough it is for the restaurants, shops, art galleries and other small businesses here in Carmel-by-the-Sea. I think our commercial landscape will change quite a bit. Large ones like Pebble Beach can survive.

There is many problems such as no matter how much we stay at home here in NH, our state is flooded with people from high virus areas like NY, Ct and MA who could bring it here. There should have been a stop in flights and a stop from anyone from leaving high impact areas. There are many other people who get their news from FB who are not getting the right info what to do and what not to do. Then you have politcians hate for the president make them give uneduactaed speeches confusing people more.  It is a mess out there and the longer this goes on, the better chance people will start to explode

I take my health seriously ALWAYS. Especially 'climate change crud' time here when temps go from the 50s to 90s in a very short time period, fluctuating. We go from heat to AC, back to heat, to evaporative (once we get them working!) and so from dry to moist air. So crank up the immune boosters, get sunlight, eat clean and hydrate.

My county, 14000 sq mi, 5th largest in the country, just got its 8th confirmed case. The guy is an hour away, got it traveling and is still where he traveled to. He's not here. ZERO cases in my town and only one a town over. The other 6 are in the 'cities' and contracted 'traveling'. 
A lot of AZ people all over the state (not just my rural area but in the large metro areas too) are saying overreaction by our Governor and NV Governor. I have never seen Vegas/Laughlin/Reno shut down in 27 years living here and over 45 coming here. And we have 'bad flu season' every year. Folks get flu shots and folks still get sick. And die.

Yes, taking it seriously. Just sent out a custom made greeting card made especially for my clients who appreciate the Agent for Life model. Making calls as well!

Part of resolving any problem starts with acceptance. In the case of the virus, it definitely means taking it seriously and acting on the recommendations of educated professionals.

We do have laws that address the privacy of patients, I am sure the attnys would love it if that info was publicized.

I just wish we did not have so much contradictory info coming from the top.

Yes, the pandemic has grasped the nation and California is leading the way in putting a stranglehold on the public.  We need a break through and some good news everyday to compensate for the saturation on death, disease, loss of money, loneliness, shortages...

I've been taking this seriously for months now and started my isolation a week or two early.  Some things like Walmart closing off aisles due to non-existent county directives (that are unenforcable by CA law) I do not.

Information is dangerous and important.  You always need to consider the source and form your own opinion.  It would be nice if everyone would get on the same sheet.
