You do not need to compare yourself to people that are choosing to be selfish and break the law; I totally agree with Bob Crane  -there’s so much that can be done before you need to meet with people that still further your business forward. I'm super busy and have been home for 14 days.

You don’t want to be seen violating shelter in place, you are your brand you are your business.

Now more than ever, people In your community are watching you and your behavior.

We just got deemed essential in California on Saturday yet we still have a shelter in place order that I am honoring even though technically I could go out. Think about your health, think about other peoples health and think about the bigger picture.

Paul - Your question makes me think of the theory of abundance versus the concept of shortage, lack and need as well as all the related words/terms that may enter your mind.  In my opinion, this is true at any time not just now.

Stay well, continue to be healthy and keep prepared for better times.

So many things to do in building a business that do not involve meeting with clients.

I am busyier than ever and have not met with a client in weeks.

This is a time to do double the work and emerge from this ordeal on top.

Best to play it safe.  Much the same happened here.  We had shelter in place orders and the state AOR told everyone to stand down.  Not many listened.  I got many a "buyers need" and "new listing" email during the non-essential times.  We're now essential in Cali.  Same as a Starbucks Barista.

We Realtors in NH are essential. However little to no customers right now. But preparing for the future. If you have a stay at home order, you should still be able to work from home?

1. Align with abundance. Not lack.
2. The cheese got moved, but it's still out there. Find it. Be on the front line.

Not long ago, here on ACTIVE RAIN, many real estate professions were very much convinced in regards to creating a more appropriate OFFER to the consumer. Some even said, "IF they can't afford my fee, they shouldn't be looking to buy or sell."  Never invested the energy to look beyond FEE.

There may be a weeding of the garden.

"My company has told me to 'stand down."  More information needed.

Are you an employee receiving the benefits of an employee?

"I am losing prospects?" Did you modify your OFFER?

We're the same up here: told to stand down.  I am high risk as is my 92 yr old Mother so I did not question it.  Disgusted to see so many New Listings on our Board this morning.  Solds don't bother me as much as these were listed prior to the crisis.  But the New ones annoy me to no end!

I feel your frustration.  We were able to get the Governor and the state of CA to declare agents essential only for the county to say no you are not, stay home.  I am very frustrated by it.

Where I am we are not even permitted to go to our offices for ANYTHING...We are not permitted to show or list properties or visit with anyone face to face for any reason...We have agents monitoring other agents and reporting them...They could lose their license if caught...Also, the broker license is in jeopardy...For now, other than emails and phone calls I'm out of business...One settlement last Friday postponed at least 2 weeks...Attorney's offices shut down also as non-essential and our local courthouse is closed.
