Some just put clear tape over the screen, and others will seek out a replacement screen.

They are expensive, you can buy them online or there are local repair places in nearly every town.

Yes.  There are lots of places that will do it. Just be careful to use a reputable place.  Read online reviews to be sure.

If you opted for AppleCare when you bought it, they will do it for about $75.00 or so.

Also, think about getting a glass screen cover for the phone. Cheap but really make a difference. My case and screen are almost bulletproof.
