Feed your faith and not your fears. We are still in for a interesting ride before we see the end of this. Pull together as Americans, Individuals and Professionals. I have never been thru anything like this before and hopefully we will never see this again. There are lessons in history where Americans have pulled together and prospered and now is the time to revisit those lessons.

Hmmm, I wonder.....are all the TP hoarders actually pursuing a marketing strategy to drop of necessities to those in lock-down?
After checking on citizen needs, I follow up knowing the citizen has the extra time to dust off some old skills or interests or take a journey down a new path.
My plan is to deliver a little success via video that the citizen will appreciate. I could be a laugh, a resource they will value or how to repair the 10 inch wheels on their push mower...(as long as Ace Hardware stays open). Being aware this is not a one day affair, this is a good opportunity to deliver real substance in unexpected ways. Success is measured not in the first video viewed but the return to see more. Loyalty will be golden when the fear subsides.
If we have good data in the CRM we can know what will deliver success and be willing to act upon it.

I'm taking a vacation! Or as the hipsters would call it "a stay-cation".

I am so saddened at the "Business as usual" comments I'm seeing all over FB!! NO, it is not. People have been told to STAY HOME. There are 30 year olds on ventilators up here, for God's sake. Have you read about Italy or Spain???
We have to mitigate the outbreak of COVID-19 and that means YOU! People do not need to be interrupted at home other than to be asked how they can be helped? Do they need food, medicine, supplies? Do they have family near by that can assist them in any way? I'm not feeling too good about our profession at the moment, can you tell?

We've talked about it- people are home, great time to make calls, etc - but our sense is that people are very tentative right now. We're more focused on things we can do at home to get ready for what I hope is a strong summer market.

I'm reminding people I'm here for them. I am not using the virus to exploit or market off. Instead I'm just checking in with my database socially.
I already got a leads solicitation using the coronavirus as the premise (and swiftly hung up on them in disgust).

Business, in that sense, for the most part, is as usual. Most of my clients come from my website and referrals.
