I've learned there are cliques everywhere and often adults act like they're in middle school.  There are playground bullies everywhere and come in all demographics.  If the teacher doesn't step in, things get quickly out of hand.  Detention or removal is sometimes a necessary evil.  Bad behaviour or manipulation of the rules, should not be rewarded.

When people get along, we learn more, we respond more and we grow.

As Carol Williams has stated, it would be impossible to say ONE or the TOP thing and it would extend far beyond business.   Consistency as mentioned by Bob Crane is expressed often here and in so many different ways.  The topic of "mindfulness" "being aware" and "remaining present" as written by Ron and Alexandra Seigel and others has become a part of my life.  Personal and professional seem to intertwine through ActiveRain and that has been a big surprise for me - an especially nice one.

I could make a fairly long list. Without AR i may never of had the interaction with agents and indurstry folk from acorss the country. Many turned to friendships. The amount of advice is incredible. A willingness to learn, be taught and open. Learning how others do things. Learning how mot to do things. Who knew others experienced similar things and feelings to me. Here in NH the big companies are not friendly and live to crush competition. Where AR is open to all, big, little and medium. Everyone is equal. You get what you put in.
